Victor's Forum has been given a star.

He deserves that, too. Exactly 10 years ago, in 2009, I got help to connect the Forum Cosima chat to Tufat.com's Flash chat software (Worlds Greatest 5 Dollar Archive). Peter had installed the Red5 multimedia server software on my server and this was the beginning of the big adventure: WoltLab as a forum and user management combined with Tufat's voice and cam chat. In the chat rooms 50 users could make voice, cam in personal messages (PNs).

Yahoo was rebuilt 1 to 1. Working hours dragged on with the adjustments over half a year.

At Viktor I found the much needed guidance to connect the software from WoltLab Forum and Flash Chat, I called it the "Bridge". For this I had to adapt it, because there were many new features in MySQL and PHP.

A crazy, but wonderful time.

Viktor's support board is an immortal authority and a luminary in the WoltLab story. He probably helped thousands with his support. He remains unforgotten to me, although he has certainly forgotten me for a long time.

Peter instalou o software do servidor multimídia Red5 no meu servidor e esse foi o começo da grande aventura: o WoltLab como um fórum e gerenciamento de usuários combinado com o chat de voz e cam da Tufat. Nas salas de chat, 50 usuários podiam fazer voz, cam em mensagens pessoais (PNs).

Yahoo foi reconstruído 1 para 1. As horas de trabalho se arrastaram com os ajustes ao longo de meio ano.

Na Viktor eu encontrei a orientação necessária para conectar o software do WoltLab Forum e do Flash Chat, eu chamei de "Bridge". Para isso eu tive que adaptá-lo, porque havia muitos recursos novos no MySQL e no PHP.

Um tempo louco, mas maravilhoso.

A placa de apoio de Viktor é uma autoridade imortal e uma figura luminosa na história da WoltLab. Ele provavelmente ajudou milhares com o seu apoio. Ele permanece inesquecível para mim, embora ele certamente tenha me esquecido por um longo tempo.

En Viktor encontré la guía tan necesaria para conectar el software de WoltLab Forum y Flash Chat, lo llamé el "Puente". Para esto tuve que adaptarlo, porque había muchas características nuevas en MySQL y PHP.

Un momento loco, pero maravilloso.

La junta de apoyo de Viktor es una autoridad inmortal y una luminaria en la historia de WoltLab. Probablemente ayudó a miles con su apoyo. Él permanece como un recuerdo para mí, aunque ciertamente me ha olvidado durante mucho tiempo.

Das hat er auch verdient. Ich habe mir vor jetzt genau 10 Jahren, das war 2009, Hilfe geholt um das Forum Cosima-Chat mit der Flash-Chat-Software von Tufat.com (Worlds greatest 5 Dollar Archive) zu verbinden. Peter hatte mir noch die Red5 Multimedia-Server-Software auf meinen Server installiert und damit begann das große Abenteuer: WoltLab als Forum und Nutzerverwaltung mit dem Voice- und Cam-Chat von Tufat vereinigt. Es konnten in den Chaträumen je 50 Nutzer Voice machen, Cam in Persönlichen Nachrichten (PNs).

Yahoo war damit 1zu1 nachgebaut. Arbeitszeit zog sich mit den Anpassungen über ein gutes halbes Jahr hin.

Bei Viktor fand ich die dringend benötigte Anleitung um die Software von WoltLab-Forum und Flash-Chat zu verbinden, ich nannte es die "Bridge" (Brücke). Dazu musste ich diese noch anpassen, weil es seinerzeit viele Neuerungen bei MySQL und PHP gab.

Eine verrückte, aber herrliche Zeit.

Viktor's Supportboard ist eine unsterbliche Instanz und Koryphäe im Umfeld der WoltLab-Geschichte. Er half wohl Tausenden mit seiner Unterstützung. Er bleibt mir unvergeßlich, obwohl er mich bestimmt lange vergessen hat.
